Crispy Pork Schnitzels

Ingredients

  • Remove the schnitzels from the packaging and dry them with kitchen paper

Method

  1. Season lightly with Flippen Lekka Spice
  2. Put some cake flour in a plastic bag and place the schnitzels one by one in the bag, shaking them to coat with flour
  3. Dip the schnitzels one by one in a beaten egg and coat evenly
  4. Dip the schnitzels in breadcrumbs flavoured with Flippen Lekka Spice
  5. Place the crumbed schnitzels on an open plate in the fridge for at least 4 hours before frying them
  6. Heat sunflower oil in a heavy based pan and fry each schnitzel on both sides until golden brown
  7. Drain on kitchen paper and serve hot
  8. NB: Do Not skip the step where the schnitzels are refrigerated
  9. This will ensure that the crumbs stick to the meat
