Pineapple Cheese-Griller Sosaties

Ingredients

  • 750g smoked cheese grillers cut into 2 1/2 cm long slices
  • fresh pineapple, cut into 2 1/2 cm chunks
  • 1/2 large white onion, cut into large chunks
  • 1 cup of your favourite basting sauce
  • Flippen Lekka Spice to taste

Method

  1. Thread the ingredients in alternating fashion onto skewers
  2. Spray a pan with non-stick cooking spray
  3. Place skewers on pan and brush with half of the basting sauce
  4. Grill in hot oven for about 6 - 8 minutes, until pineapple and onion begin to char
  5. Remove from oven and turn over
  6. Brush with remaining basting sauce and add Flippen Lekka Spice to taste
  7. Grill for another 5 minutes
  8. Can also be done over hot coals
