Chicken Alfredo & Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 Packet of Royco / Knorr Alfredo Pasta Sauce powder
  • 125ml milk
  • 21/2 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 cups cubed chicken breast fillets, fried
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1/4 cup chopped and roasted red peppers
  • 5ml Flippen Lekka Spice
  • 1 cup soft breadcrumbs
  • 1 Tbsp butter

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C
  2. In large bowl combine pasta sauce and milk
  3. Stir in rice, chicken, peas, red peppers and Flippen Lekka Spice
  4. Transfer to baking dish
  5. Bake covered for 30 minutes
  6. Uncover and stir
  7. Combine bread crumbs and melted butter and sprinkle atop
  8. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes more or until heated through and crumbs are golden brown
  9. Let stand 5 minutes before serving
