Ingredients
- 500g minced beef
- marrow sliced into approx 3cm slices (just over 1 inch) with seeds removed
- tin of plum tomatoes
- clove of garlic
- large onion-chopped
- olive oil
- 1 Tablespoon parmesan cheese
- 10ml Flippen Lekka Spice. Blanch the marrow for 5 minutes
Method
- Drain and place on baking tray
- Soften onion in olive oil, add minced beef, Flippen Lekka Spice and garlic and brown
- Add tomatoes and simmer for 15 minutes
- Add the parmesan, stir well and take off heat
- Add mixture to centre of marrow slices
- Place in oven at 180 degrees centigrade (350F) for 40 minutes
- Serve with mashed potatoes, sweetcorn and salad
