Lekka Chicken Burger Patties

Ingredients

  • 500g chicken mince
  • 20ml Flippen Lekka Spice
  • 2 eggs, 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 red onion, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp chopped chives
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Sunflower or vegetable oil for frying
  • 3 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C
  2. Put the mince in a mixing bowl, add spices and mix with the eggs, garlic, chopped onion, chives and breadcrumbs
  3. Mix together and shape into small burger patties
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the burgers for 3-4 minutes on each side, until the top and bottom are golden and sealed
  5. The middle may still be a little pink at this stage
  6. Arrange on a baking tray and bake in the oven for 10 minutes
  7. Combine the sweet chilli and balsamic vinegar in a small bowl, and brush the mixture over the burgers as soon as they come out of the oven
